Extremely Engaging
Historical fiction is my favorite genre. Most of the historical fiction being published seems to be set in World War II, so it is nice to encounter a different subject centered on a different travesty of humanity.
I found the debate scene to be very interesting, and the fight that followed to be well-written. The scene in which Mungo encounters Chester and learns of his betrayal was painful to read but incredibly engaging. I could feel my blood boiling the more Chester revealed.
I have not read the other books in the series, but am encouraged to check out the series after sampling this book.
