What I liked/loved at first site:
Background: Whether or not this could be considered a historical fiction merely depends on the depth this book takes into American slavery (which I am hoping is great)
Characters: considering that the main protagonist is of wealthy background, I wonder what type of rich, university kid he actually is. Before Mungo's sister had been enslaved, what sort of persona did he possess? Was he racist to begin with or not?
Plot: I wonder what Mungo actually does learn to do in order to survive!
