Any book with books on its cover is going to get this librarian's attention, but what hooked me was the Persuasion retelling angle. I haven't seen this Austen gem get a lot of attention in a publishing field full of Austen fan fiction, so I'm eager to see how this one turns out. The academia angle is less exciting (for personal reasons), but it seems to suit the retelling well. Can't wait to read more.
