Anne Corey spends her life working for tenure, encouraging the education of the collegiate and trying to sell her book idea (in order to make tenure). Her prospects seem good until a presidential change at the university brings in her ex-fiance.
What will happen? Well, in reality we all probably know what will happen in this book, because we read books like this one for the emotions that it leads us through. We want to know that relationships, though strained, can be restored to their previous glory, or even to a state that is even better than before. But we love them the same.
I did enjoy this "first impression" and I would love to continue this book and see how the relationship progresses and the hilarity that might happen as it does.
The cover, I do not like as much. The image looks wonderful, but from the "first impression" there isn't much that points to a bike with books atop it. Maybe the importance of a bike will become clear as you read?
