I went into this first look already poised to love it based on the fact that it is a retelling of one of my favorite novels, Persuasion. The first few chapters did not disappoint. I'm already charmed by Anne, the messy, late professor. She reminds me of what I imagine I would be like as a professor.
I love the idea of second chances and meeting back up with a past flame. I am so excited to read more of this novel!
