Persuasion is probably my favorite of Austen's novels, so I'm always up for a twist on the story. This seems like it'll be a pretty interesting take, though I must say I rolled my eyes a bit at "Persuasion" existing as a book within this book's universe (and being Anne's favorite novel, no less!). Is someone going to comment at some point about how Anne Corey's life is shaping up to be a lot like Anne Elliot's? Other than that, I enjoyed these first few chapters and would definitely read the rest of the book.
