Dun-dun-DUNNNN (literally what my brain did at the end of Ch. 1)

Okay, so first: Jane Austen retellings? I will ALWAYS give it a shot, (even if it turns out horrible). Second: a retelling of Persuasion? Good choice Ms. Sonneborn! Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility retellings abound... Its nice to see Persuasion getting some love. From this first look, I think By the Book will be a Jane Austen retelling that I won't be ashamed to say I've read. The writing is breezy enough to make it a good cuddle up weekend read. Looking forward to it's release!
