What first drew me to this book was the fact that it is based on Jane Austen's book Persuasion, which is one of my favorite books (along with the cover, which is lovely). My first impression of this book: It is definitely worth reading, the story line and characters are interesting and relatable, and I want to find out what happens to Anne and Adam. I instantly related to Anne's struggles and insecurities, and I can't wait to find out why Adam is giving her the cold shoulder.
