This isn't the first book I've read this year based on Jane Austen's Persuasion, but so far, it's hooked me in the best. I love the idea of Anne as an English Professor dissecting the very book in which this story is based upon. Very interesting premise. I loved the addition of the emails that we see towards the end of the sample. I've always enjoyed when stories include emails, letter, text messages, etc. as a means of furthering the story along. The past between Adam and Anne feels like it was heartbreaking, but I'm very excited to find out how things continue to play out between them.
