The cover and title immediately give you an idea of the kind of book it is (women's lit) and then the deacription of the storyline totally reels you in if you're a women's lit fan. I love adaptations, especially Jane Austen or Shakespeare ones, so I found that kind of exciting, and right away while I was reading, the main character had a lot of relatability and I was pulled into the plot was already starting. A few chapters in and I'm already dying to know more which seems like the sign to a good book to me.
