I absolutely love books that aren't your average love stories. This particular tale is about a college professor, seeking tenure and to publish a book, and her old flame, who just so happens to be the univeristy's new president. The flow of the dialogue and the story is what pulled me in after the premise. I love stories about old flames, especially when they're both in adulthood and lead more complicated lives than they did when they dated (in this case it was college).
