Thank you bookish first for the ARC of Buried and this is my honest review. This is vintage Lynda LaPlante. Good plot, great characters and difficult to put down. This is a new series featuring DCJack Warr. A conflicted character but developed nicely. If you have read LaPlante's Dolly Rawlins novels you would have some additional background into the cold case that Jack is investigating. However it is not necessary to have read the previous books to be able to follow the story line. It kept me guessing to the end and hungry for more books about Jack Warr. I highly recommend this book and gave it a solid four stars. Don't wait too long Lynda LaPlante to write and publish Jack's next adventures.
