I had such high hopes for this novel, I truly did. I loved the first preview, and I was excited to see Karin Slaughter’s blurb.
Unfortunately for the moment I’m putting this book down, I genuinely have yet to enjoy a single bit of it.
The characters piss me off, I’m so very tired of hearing about how attractive everyone is and how at least one co-worker has inappropriate feelings/thoughts about them. I do not like Jack one bit, he’s unbearably whinny in my opinion.
The story is pretty generic thus far, it follows your typical format of a detective perspective thriller/mystery. I don’t care for the flow of this novel either, at times it will shift to a completely different pov without warning.
If I do finish Buried I will write a brand new review and share my thoughts, but at this moment I don’t want to share what random thoughts I have on any other platform.
