I wasn't particularly fond of Buried. I didn't particularly connect with the characters, who were ex-cons (although some books have ex-cons that I do like). There is good description, but it did't really click with me.
After the prologue, there's an entire scene which is just description. It didn't really hold my interest. I prefer a little more going on while the world is being described. But that's just my personal taste.
