Page one already had me hooked. The prologue was intriguing and just enough of a teaser that when chapter one starts you are left to wonder how the two will connect. The first chapter starts with the reader experiencing a house go up in flames with seemingly no characters there to witness it. As fire and police arrive we meet who can only be assumed to be some of our main characters. It is soon discovered that a body was in the fire and clues to it being a murder start to appear.
The writing of this book captivates the reader and pulls them right in to the investigation as if you are standing right next to the detective. Seems like it will be a great read.
