I've tried to read books by this author in the past, and it never went well for me. I love the genre, but I have a hard time connecting with this author's stories and her writing.I want a book to grab my attention immediately and hook me from the beginning, but that's not the case with this book (or the others I've attempted). Others who enjoy this genre may very well enjoy it.
