Good story, but not my cup tea.
The book cover looks interesting, intriguing, enough to make the readers wants to read more about the book, although the author’s name is a little bit too big....just a little bit. The prologue was promising, it seems gives the readers the background of the crime case, including some characters who’s involved in there.
However, I did not catch up the story in chapter first. It doesn’t have intrigue feeling or imagination like when I read the prologue. The introduction for the main characters feels a little bit flat, just standard details which I can find easily in every kind of mystery with detectives in it.
It is a one of a good British crime novel I believe, but not my cup of tea.
