I'll be honest, this first look did not immediately hook me. To be fair though, this is not a book I would normally read, so maybe that's why I was only moderately interested. And its not that first impression wasn't interesting or doesn't have potential, I'm just not yet sold. You can hardly expect every book you read to hook from the first few pages. So there is something there, and it is well written, so this might catch the eyes of others who are more prone to reading this genre, but for me it was just okay.
