Initially it was the beautiful cover that made me want to read the "first look" to get a feel for the story. My title of this first impression says it all! I was hooked after reading the Prologue and knew I wanted to continue!
Piper is the Mayor of Honey Creek Texas and is worried that she no longer will continue holding the seat of the family legacy of 50 years. She turns to her grandfather's photo on the wall and remembers his words of wisdom. "Sometimes doing nothing, saying nothing, can get you
in more trouble than doing or saying the wrong thing." As she is conflicted with what she should do next, she receives a note under the door that says, "Say Nothing."
