I am immediately drawn in by main character, Piper, mayor of a charming small-town who finds itself in the middle of a scandal. While there is a real mystery to solve, one can't escape wondering how newcomers Detective Colby and interim preacher, Sam, fit into Honey Creek as well as Piper's life. The cover relayed the perfect feel of coziness that makes you want to curl up and read.
