Mysterious, what happened to Boomer and how much is Piper involved.

Just reading the first few chapters to this book has me anxiously waiting to continue reading and find out just what happened to Boomer, what does the preacher have to do with everything, does Autumn know more and hasn't let on, and why did Boomer want to get so close to Piper, and then there is Colby, perhaps a future love interest for Piper. This is the type of book that you would keep reading until you finished it, as you wouldn't want to be left hanging.
