My first impression was to be intrigued. Definitely a mystery afoot, which I happen to love, and some complex character are front and center. The mayor, who is engaged but not really, and happens to belong to well placed family. There's the new minister who has not practiced as such yet here he is. And then the investigator, also know being who he is. All have a mystery about them that makes me want to know more.
