The introductory note by the author is a great touch. Powerfully written and immediately indicative of the story’s intentions. I like how the premise is direct enough to be interesting but has an air of mystery surrounding it. Not sure what happened in the heroine’s life yet and there is much to be revealed. The first few chapters are solid, detailing the main character’s relationship with her father and her day-to-day life. The writing style is fast paced and full of personality. Curious to see more. The cover is also a unique design.
