Wow. The first page alone had me more interested than I ever imagined I would be. Truthfully I had already written this book off. Fiction books based closely on reality don't typically do anything new for my mind that everyday life cant do itself. However!
"The girls didn’t break regular things like
glass or nails or bones. The girls broke bigger things—things they said
could never work for them in the first place." It goes on to mention broken promises, bonds, etc. Emotional breaks vs material breaks. Already Im surprised and intrigued by what the story promises.
Also however, Im not loving the writing and the way the characters talk. Its just not my cup of tea.
