I was completely pulled in by the prologue and summary of the book. As I started reading, I was intrigued by the main character and her past. I appreciated the relationship between her and her father and felt invested in finding out more about the past with her mother. Maybe it shouldn't bother me but the one thing that felt off was how she was using Facebook messenger -- as a high school teacher, I don't know of any of my students who use Facebook. Other than that minor detail that felt unrealistic, the book sounds interesting!
