How does it change their responses to situations of oppression? Iloh’s language flows seamlessly, deeply grounded in the representation of culture and place, without losing the humor and rhythm of her narrator. Knowing that Iloh’s dives into deeper portrayal of mental health, grief and how a community changes makes me highly anticipate this book.
