This book has 12 short stories in it. There were a few that really got me thinking after they were done. Where did the characters go from where we ended? Did they ever have to suffer consequences due to what they did? Did they have a happy ending or not? So many questions. It was a nice break for me to read some short stories. They were quick and stimulated my thinking.
I really enjoyed Voices. A composer is having difficulties writing after her husband dies until she meets an interesting man. That one left me thinking about her life after meeting Otto.
Long Time, No See was also a good one. It left me wondering what I would do in his shoes when it comes to a loved one getting on in years.
