Provoking & Heartfelt
This series of short stories hit the heart in almost every case. They were short, but really made you sit and ponder what you would do in his/her situation if it had been you. Some of them were sad, and some of them were mostly happy, or memory filled in the good nostalgic way. But I liked the way the author wrote, I liked the way the book was set up, and I enjoyed the break I got from stories by having short snippets of a tale, and wondering about the background, the history, having only had just a taste of it. It really brings a whole new depth to them - when you normally have most of the information, with short stories you have to grab at straws, you have to construct the logistics in your mind more, and it creates a whole new reading experience. I really enjoyed this short story collection!
