Each one of these stories resonates with a presence and pulses with life in a very real way. I liked that each story was complete yet made me reflective in some way. I would love to read more stories from this author in the future and loved the variety and sense of adventure in this book. I liked that each story was self encompassed, however seemed to delve into the heart of the character while drawing out something powerful and almost mystical in nature. I liked that all of the characters were intensely human with the needs and desires that we all have that are not discussed and are taken for granted. I think that this book will remind people of what forces drive them and propel them even if they are deep under the surface.
