There is such thing as a story that's too short, and this book exists in that category.

For the few stories I actually liked, "Body Language", "All I Have", "Memory Palace", the author didn't give enough to grab me. Only "Hunger" was a perfect story.

The first story was too country/farmer for me. I didn't like the dialogue, and I especially didn't like a woman spitting onto her hands to put up her ponytail. Gross. Why did happen again in "Hunger?" Such a gross detail.

For the stories I didn't like, I was REALLY turned off and disappointed that I wasted points. After all, I used my points for an AUTOGRAPHED copy and I didn't even get anything more than a delivery from Amazon.

Each story had a wrap-up sentence at the end. In some cases, it worked, but mostly it just insulted the reader by assuming we didn't already get the point of the story.

Thank you to Bookishfirst for the ARC of this book.
