This is a collection of 12 short stories and while I understand that the reader will typically not connect with all of them, I didn't really connect with any of them. I felt there was a wide range of characters but they were just hard for me to find anything in common with. Maybe if I was older I would have enjoyed the characters more as I could have related to them better. If I'm being honest the first story really rubbed me the wrong way and maybe that tainted my view of the rest of the book but regardless I just found myself checking to see how much I had left to read. I think someone who has gone through different experiences or is older will be able to relate to these stories and characters more.
