I love that this book really plays on a human emotion we have all experienced in our lives. A position that life puts us in that forces us to make a decision you don't feel like you can make. Following the lives and situations of twelve different people facing separate and individual life events makes the book that much more interesting. You can really find yourself in a lot of these characters. The small stories are presented in digestible chunks that make this a real page turner. Not to mention that the author takes a very clinical and scientific approach in her observations with the individuals. She works to better understand how the mind operates and why we make the decisions we do.
