Body Language is a collection of short stories by Marylee MacDonald. I find the characters to be interesting and complete. I enjoyed most of the short stories and could easily see some of them turning into full books. I especially enjoyed "Hunger". Each story is completely different and many have endings I didn't expect. The writing is easy to read and the scenes are easy to imagine. I wish she would turn many of these short stories into complete books - that's how good some of her characters are. I have not read any of her books before but will look into her other books.
I found the single thread of heartbreak in the stories to be true - but each heartbreak is a different story and told in a different manner. Very enjoyable book.
