I'm a big fan of short story collections and if I ever write a book myself, this will likely be the format I go with. The mention of a bartender striving for sobriety hits home. I have been sober for 8+ years and when I was first attempting to change my life, I also happened to be a bartender... needless to say that wasn't easy and I'd love to read a story around this theme.
