Jane Tennison and her team respond to a call of yipping dogs. When the police arrive, they find the owner of the home dead. The team must solve the murder.
I think I expected more thriller and less every day life of the police. Honestly, I was a bit bored. The characters were interesting though. I think they could have been good but the I was too bored with the story. I have also never read a Tennison novel before, so I don't know if that had something to do with it. Maybe if I'd started at the beginning I would have been more invested in the "who done it" part because I want them to succeed.
I actually did not finish this book and don't plan to. I won't post this review anywhere else because I've seen a lot of other people who have loved it. I just couldn't get into it.
