I was so excited to win in the raffle the newest book by Lynda LaPlante, Blunt Force. This one did not disappoint. Detective Jane Tennison has been transferred to a small police station and cannot find any serious crime to investigate in her new assignment. But be careful what you wish for because soon she discovers an extremely brutal murder. The victim is an agent to people in show business and likely had many enemies to place on the suspect list. Tennison has her work cut out for her as she travels into the world of the rich and famous people in show business to try to undercover the identity of the killers before it is too late. This book was well written and very enjoyable and I will be recommending it to friends and family.
