When we meet Detective Sergeant Jane Tennison, she is now working out of the Gerald Road police station where she was reassigned from the Flying Squad team.
At the station, she handles the usual petty crimes until one day a brutal murder of a theatrical agent, Charles Foxley, put her and her partner, DS Spencer Gibbs, into the investigation. There are a number of suspects including an ex-wife, partners and other agents at the agency, the new model startup called KatWalk and Foxley's exotic sexual escapades.
A good story line with interesting characters, insights into investigative procedures, workings of theatrical agencies and the backstory of why Jane was reassigned.
