Jane Tennison is the ultimate kiss ass female character in the police force in the books by Lynda la Plante. Having read a few of her novels I am intrigued to find out what is in store for her in this latest edition to the saga. Some crime dramas are much of the same but this author seems to forever manage to bring out a new twidt to the plot that leaves you always wanting more. I can never seem to put her novels down
