I've never read this author before, so my guess is that this just isn't a genre for me and not a reflection of the author's work. I had a hard time getting through just the first impression as it just moved a little too slowly for me. But I wouldn't say this isn't a book many woke like. Definitely give it a shot because as I said, it just didn't I interest me personally.
