I found the writing to be very stiff and in incentive. The dialogue also felt very stiff, as if the characters were reading off a script rather than speaking for themselves. It also feels like I jumped right into the middle of a book series (which is entirely possible) rather than reading a book from the beginning. And for those reasons, I’m out.
