We met Jane when she was trying to work on the Flying Squad, the British police department that dealt with mostly armed robberies. That was an all male group that did not want Jane in their club. So she was transferred to a small station in a rich neighborhood. Most of the crimes were shoplifting or stealing one expensive item from a posh shop. Then there is a murder and Jane gets a second chance.
