Frankly, I'm not a fan of novels set in international waters only because I can't wrap my head around the acronyms of DS (Detective Sergeant) and others. However, Blunt Force appears to be an interesting read. I just couldn't get into the rhythm of the story and to me it was just too slow of a start. I really prefer an out of the gates excitement.
