I was not the biggest fan of the writing style or the repeat use of "gov". I am British, but this felt like the dialogue was trying to be overly pretentious. There was also an awful lot of characters and currently none of them were particularly likeable and unfortunately I am not really that enthused to carry on reading and solve the murder.
