The book begins with Maud walking into an upscale restaurant and shooting at a man that she feels stole her families fortune. At first I thought, what kind of woman is this? Is she crazy? The more I read, the more I loved Maud's character as well as some of the people she had as "friends". The book was full of surprises all the way to the end. I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good suspense book.
