The concept of this book greatly interests me. First of all, revenge plots are so compelling to observe. Seeing that passionate (perhaps irrational) drive, and the consequences it may bring. There's high society, which intrigues me, a middle class peasant. Crime and ignoring the law is always fun (to read about). I have this image of power, intelligience (and of course, wealth) with some who likes and is skilled at poker. That may not be right, but I want to read about.
