This seems like a great new take on the woman-focused thriller. My curiosity is peaked by this particular villainess and her approach to revenge. As someone who has never played or understood poker, these references are lost on me. However, I like the idea of the "bluff" and Maud's use of it to further her progress. The cover is stunning, minimalist but with just enough action to draw you in. I'm excited to see where this book goes next!
