Maud, a women in her mid-fifties, walks into the Four Seasons where she interrupts a standing lunch of two gentlemen, pulls out a gun, and shoots one of them. She then walks out and gets on a train. The wonder is whether or not she shot the man she was hoping to- most people think not, but we don't know. We also get a glimpse into the gossipy world of the rich of NYC. This really starts at a fast clip and moves along with dialogue and fun imagery. I look forward to reading more.
