My new favorite fantasy series!
Prepare to get swept away by Vivia’s water, to be blown away by Merik’s winds, to have your blood frozen by Aeduan, and to be buried under an emotional avalanche by S. Dennard! Bloodwitch was an amazing continuation of the Witchlands series! No matter whose point of view you’re in, no matter which part of the Witchlands, I was completely engrossed. The world building, the plot, the deception and lies, the allegiance swapping, this book had everything!
I personally feel that you should not continue onto Bloodwitch without having first read Sightwitch because there is some seriously vital information in there for you to understand these sly little secrets Dennard has hiding in this novel. The book ends with so many secrets left untold. I was desperately yearning for more! So many people, how do I know for sure whom I can trust? Especially that bird… I’ve got my eye on you, bird… And now I must wait HOW LONG for the next book?? (Oh, please let it be Ironwitch, PLEASE let it be Ironwitch!!!)
This series has captivated me from the beginning and I am so happy that TOR Books sent me an ARC of Bloodwitch or I wouldn’t have blown through this series the way I did. Thank you, TOR, and especially big thanks to Susan Dennard for such a fascinating world to get lost in!
