everything you could ever want from a Witchlands book

The Witchlands is one of my favorite YA fantasy series, and Bloodwitch does not disappoint. Susan balances the multiple POVs so well, with each character having a distinctive voice and development through the book that just feels...right. There's humor, romantic tension, exceptional character development, and an extremely moving and personal portrayal of mental health. This is the book that Aeduan deserves; this is the book that Witchlanders deserve. We see more of the intricate world that Susan has created, and this book proves that she is the master of worldbuilding in YA fantasy. If you haven't already, I highly suggest starting the Witchlands series immediately. Pick up Truthwitch and immerse yourself into the complex world of the Witchlands. (Also, if you haven't read Sightwitch, I would read that before starting Bloodwitch. It adds greater depth to the world, plus it's a really good book).
