At Long Last
This was maybe the best thing to happen since chocolate was invented. I loved, LOVED , the first two books in this amazing, action-packed series. When I heard there was another one, I cried. I kid you not. I sat down on the floor and cried like a little girl. I was so happy and excited.
Susan Dennard is an amazing author with characters that leap off the page and action and mystery and twists and turns that make me tear my hair out and scream. Her world-building is out of this world (ha, ha). Her character development is beautiful. Aeduan and Iseult are both strong, dependent protagonists who you can't help but love.
This book was emotionally charged, more so than the first two, I think. It was well-written and poignant and just beautiful. I read anything by this author and love it, but this one was my favorite by far.
